At Vexcite Inc. (“Vexcite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we ship high value electric vehicles via insured freight carriers. Because our products are large, partially assembled, and contain installed lithium ion battery systems, the following Shipping Policy applies.

1. Shipping Method

Vexcite bikes are shipped within the United States using insured freight carriers.

Shipments may include:

  • Palletized freight delivery
  • Cardboard protective packaging
  • Scheduled delivery appointment
  • Adult signature requirement

Delivery typically occurs via residential LTL freight with liftgate service where available.

We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

2. Battery Shipment and Compliance

Bikes are shipped with lithium ion batteries installed in the frame.

All shipments are prepared in accordance with applicable hazardous materials transportation regulations.

Customers agree not to open, modify, or tamper with the battery housing prior to inspection and proper setup.

The battery may ship at a partial state of charge in compliance with transportation safety requirements.

Do not charge or operate the bike until final assembly is complete and the bike has been fully inspected.

3. Processing Time

Bikes may be built to order or assembled in limited production batches.

Any estimated build, assembly, or shipment timelines are approximate and not guaranteed.

Processing times may vary due to:

  • Production scheduling
  • Parts availability
  • Quality control procedures
  • Carrier availability
  • Regulatory or supply chain factors

Customers will receive shipment confirmation once the bike has left our facility.

4. Transit Time

Transit times depend on destination and carrier.

All transit timelines are estimates only.

Vexcite is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Freight carriers
  • Weather
  • Delivery scheduling conflicts
  • Labor disruptions
  • Events outside our reasonable control

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or provided in writing.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Remote or rural addresses
  • Limited access locations
  • Re delivery attempts
  • Address corrections
  • Customer requested changes after shipment

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

6. Title and Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery to the shipping address provided.

An adult signature may be required at delivery.

Once the shipment is signed for, it is considered accepted.

7. Delivery Inspection Requirements

Customers must inspect the shipment at the time of delivery.

Before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt, customers should:

  • Inspect packaging and pallet condition
  • Photograph any visible damage
  • Note any visible damage directly on the carrier’s delivery receipt

Failure to document visible damage at delivery may result in denial of freight claims.

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, Vexcite must be notified within 24 hours with photographs and supporting documentation.

Customers must retain all packaging materials until the issue is resolved.

8. Partial Assembly and Customer Responsibility

Vexcite bikes may arrive partially assembled.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Completing final assembly steps
  • Ensuring all bolts and fasteners are properly torqued
  • Verifying brake alignment and operation
  • Confirming proper wheel installation
  • Inspecting electrical connections before first ride

We strongly recommend professional assembly and inspection by a qualified bicycle or powersports technician prior to operation.

Failure to properly assemble or inspect the bike may result in damage, injury, or voiding of warranty coverage.

9. Lost or Damaged Shipments

All shipments are insured.

If a shipment is lost or arrives damaged, customers must notify Vexcite promptly, provide photographs, and retain all packaging materials.

Vexcite will coordinate with the freight carrier to initiate a claim where appropriate.

Resolution timelines depend on the carrier’s investigation process.

10. Failed Delivery and Storage Fees

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Customer unavailability
  • Incorrect address
  • Inaccessible delivery location
  • Refusal of shipment

The customer may be responsible for:

  • Re delivery charges
  • Storage fees
  • Return freight costs

Returned shipments may be treated as returns and may be subject to restocking fees under our Return and Refund Policy.

11. Dealer or In Person Delivery

Bikes delivered through authorized dealers or picked up in person transfer risk of loss at the time of physical delivery to the customer.

Dealer specific handling procedures may apply.

12. International Shipping

Vexcite currently ships only within the United States.

Future international shipping, if offered, may be subject to additional duties, taxes, and regulatory requirements.
