Return & Refund Policy
At Vexcite Inc. (“Vexcite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to delivering high performance electric vehicles built to order. Because our products are large, custom assembled, and costly to ship, the following Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. Order Cancellation
Cancellation Within 48 Hours
Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of placement for a full refund.
After 48 hours, orders may enter sourcing, allocation, or build preparation.
Cancellation After 48 Hours
Once an order enters processing, sourcing, or production preparation, cancellation is no longer guaranteed.
If Vexcite agrees to a cancellation after this stage, a cancellation fee may apply to cover:
- Administrative costs
- Payment processing fees
- Parts allocation
- Supplier commitments
This fee may be up to 5% of the total order value.
No Cancellation After Production Begins
Once physical assembly, customization, firmware configuration, or parts installation has begun, the order becomes non cancellable and non refundable.
Customers may be notified when their order reaches this stage.
2. Returns After Delivery
Because Vexcite products are high value, large freight items, we do not offer free returns for buyer’s remorse.
Return Eligibility
Returns must meet all of the following requirements:
- Return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
- Bike must have fewer than 10 miles of use
- Bike must be in like new condition
- Bike must have no scratches, cosmetic damage, or signs of wear
- All original packaging, manuals, keys, accessories, and included parts must be returned
Failure to meet these requirements may result in denial of the return.
Restocking Fee
Approved non defect returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price.
This fee covers:
- Payment processing costs
- Inspection
- Re packaging
- Depreciation
- Administrative handling
Original shipping charges are non refundable.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for:
- Arranging insured freight return shipping
- Ensuring proper packaging
- Risk of loss or damage during return transit
We strongly recommend insured, trackable freight shipping.
If a returned bike is damaged during return shipping, the customer is responsible for filing the claim with the carrier.
3. Defective or Damaged Products
If your bike arrives damaged or has a verified manufacturing defect, you must notify Vexcite within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
If a defect is confirmed, Vexcite may, at its discretion:
- Repair or replace the defective component
- Provide replacement parts
- Arrange return shipping
- Offer another resolution consistent with the applicable warranty terms
In cases of verified manufacturing defect, restocking fees do not apply.
Warranty terms govern defect related issues.
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality may not qualify as defects.
4. Non Returnable Items
The following are non refundable:
- Custom built or special configuration bikes
- Bikes modified after delivery
- Bikes with altered controller settings
- Bikes with aftermarket parts installed
- Clearance or final sale items
- Used bikes exceeding 10 miles
- Products damaged through misuse, improper assembly, accidents, or unauthorized modification
5. Exchanges
Exchanges are handled as a return and new purchase and are subject to applicable restocking fees.
6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Vexcite to resolve an issue constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service.
Vexcite reserves the right to:
- Contest improper chargebacks
- Recover associated fees
- Seek recovery of returned merchandise
- Pursue collection or legal remedies if necessary
We are committed to resolving disputes in good faith and encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a payment dispute.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after inspection of the returned product.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.
If the original payment method is unavailable, store credit may be issued where permitted by law.
8. Dealer and In Person Sales
Purchases made through authorized dealers or retail partners may be subject to that dealer’s return policies in addition to Vexcite’s warranty coverage.
Customers should confirm dealer policies prior to purchase.
